Welcome to King’s Lynn Academy. As Principal, I want to say how delighted and honoured I am to become part of a school community that is built on strong relationships, high aspirations and genuine care for its young people.
The recent Ofsted report highlights the significant progress made in recent years, recognising the improvements in teaching and learning, attendance, SEND provision and the warm, inclusive environment that makes King’s Lynn Academy such a special place for pupils to learn.
There is so much to celebrate. Pupils enjoy coming to school, feel safe and supported, and have a strong sense of belonging. There are strong positive relationships between staff and pupils and there is excellent pastoral care available to young people with a wide range of opportunities that help pupils develop both inside and outside the classroom.
Our focus will be on ensuring that every pupil achieves their very best, strengthening reading, writing and communication skills across the curriculum, and continuing to provide a high-quality education that prepares young people for future success. We are particularly committed to ensuring that all pupils, regardless of background, have every opportunity to thrive and achieve their potential.
What excites me most is the opportunity to work in partnership with you. Parents and carers play such an important role in a child's education, and I believe that by working together we can achieve great things for our pupils and our community.
